Model Highlights

The 2019 Genesis G70 is offered in four trim levels; Advanced, Sport, Design and Dynamic. Of these four trims, two different powertrains are offered, a 2.0T and 3.3T. The G70 2.0T is a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that puts out 252 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque and is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The G70 3.3T gets a 3.3L turbocharged V6, making an impressive 365 horsepower and 376 lb-feet of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The 8-speed transmission is Genesis' Shiftronic transmission with rev-matching to shift gears at the opportune time. Rear-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is available on all trims, which works with dynamic torque vectoring to improve handling on all road conditions. The G70 stands out and makes a statement with its aggressive wide stance, sharp lines, sleek profile and signature Genesis crosshatch grille. The front end is highlighted by open intakes and sweeping headlights, while the short tapering back end adds to the sporty look. Inside the luxury comes to life with quality materials, diamond quilted leather and a clean line dash. Fine details such as leather trim, contrasting stitching and thoughtful configuration, enhance the drivers experience inside the G70. The entry level G70 2.0T Advanced comes nicely equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, chrome exterior trim, rear lip spoiler, leather-wrapped steering wheel, 8-way power front seats, remote keyless entry, dual-zone temperature control, leatherette seats, rearview camera, 6-speaker audio system and 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 2.0T Advanced is available in rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. The G70 2.0T Sport is available only in rear-wheel drive and features a sport tuned suspension and limited slip differential. Additional standard features include 19-inch alloy wheels, performance tires, chrome grille, 12-way power driver's seat, heated and ventilated front seats, aluminum interior trim accents and a 15-speaker audio system. The 3.3T Advanced trim is similarly equipped as the 2.0T Sport as it includes a sport tuned suspension, Brembo brakes, 19-inch wheels and performance tires. The interior aligns close to the features of the 2.0T Sport as well. Stepping up to the 3.3T Design adds Nappa leather-trimmed seats, rear seat heaters, seat memory system and surround view cameras. The G70 3.3T Dynamic includes extensive standard features expected in a high-end luxury sedan. Performance features include 4-corner auto-leveling suspension, sport tuned adaptive suspension, Brembo brakes and height adjustable shocks. Additional standard features include Nappa Leather power seats, leather dashboard, Lexicon premium 15-speaker sounds system, head-up display, LED headlights with low beam dynamic assist and adaptive cruise control. Safety features are plentiful on the G70, including both passive and active safety technology on all trim levels. A suite of airbags is standard, as is a rearview camera. Additional features include blind spot detection, forward collision mitigation, rear cross traffic alert, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, rear parking sensors and, on higher trim levels, a surround view camera.
